Captain America: Civil War Trailer is Here

Late Tuesday night the trailer for Captain America: Civil War was released on Jimmy Kimmel which people apparently watch. An adaption of Marvel’s Civil War storyline it pits hero vs hero when the government ties to create regulations for superheroes. It’s a cool concept which seems to fix the problems of the comic version. Even cooler we get every Avenger but Thor and Hulk appearing. The fact that we get more Hawkeye has me sold (as if I wasn’t already). More importantly we get a look at Black Panther who looks absolutely bad ass. The trailer culminates with a fight pitting Iron Man against Captain America & The Winter Soldier. With Cap’s shield being traded between the two to keep up with Iron Man is an amazing site to behold. Easily an early contender for best fight scene of 2016.

Kevin Bacon Returns to Tremors

After 5 sequels (the most recent released this year) and a 2003 TV series the Tremors series will be returning to television. Even more exciting is that the show will star and be produced by Kevin Bacon. Despite a lengthy history this will be Bacon’s return to the franchise. Produced by Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures there has not yet been an announcement for where it will debut. With that said rumor has it that the show is a bit of a hot commodity and several stations are interested in the show. As long as they don’t bring back Jamie Kennedy I’ll be happy.

MST3K Reaches Kickstarter Goal
Despite some crazy odds and a massive monetary request the Bring Back Mystery Science Theater 3000 Kickstarter campaign has met it’s goal. Produced by creator Joel Hodgman the show is set to return with a brand new cast. Leading the show will be stand up comedian Jonah Ray (The Nerdist, Drunk History) as our hapless viewer. Joining him will be robots Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo now voiced by comedians Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn, respectively. Most recently Hodgman announced that Felicia Day (Supernatural, all around nerd Hall of Famer) will play new mad Kingsta Forrester. While no network has been announced they are looking at all avenues including non-traditional outlets like Netflix.

As of this writing the show has reached just over $3 millions in donations and have guaranteed at least 3 episodes.
